elpa-ace-window software package provides selecting a window to switch to, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elpa-ace-window
elpa-ace-window is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elpa-ace-window package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elpa-ace-window *
You will get with elpa-ace-window package name, version, architecture and description in a table
